Skeptical Stats - I Do Not Trust These Stats About Bush vs Clinton Presidency

Be skeptical about these stats reader, I think some of these numbers are definitely skewed. I don’t remember there being a 119 billion dollar surplus during Clinton’s presidency, even though he did balance the federal budget.

Also, most of the stats listed are not the result of any presidential policy personal to each president, but due to external factors, like the stats driving the stock market gains was due to the tech and internet stocks taking off.

The only stat that Bush looks really bad on is the US troop stats, and what is an even better stat is that Clinton was pushing for peace in the Middle East while the Bush’s historically have clamored for conflict. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing.

Didn’t You Know? Silly Reader, Christmas Comes on December 31st This Year for Conspiracy Nutso’s

Finally, US gov. documents 25 years old and older will be automatically declassified on December 31st of this year. That is in ten days and counting!

And for those that hate Clinton, it was during his administration that this limit was put in place, a rule that has been surprisingly upheld by the current Bush-ians in Washington. Automatic declassification had “given advocates of freedom of information a real lever”, according to Thomas Blanton, director of the National Security Archive.

This new automatic declassification schedule coincides nicely with the International Right to Know Day.

So for all you conspiracy theorists out there, and general US history nutsos - December 31st is your red letter date with destiny. All of your wildest dreams will come true as you delve deep into old government docu-jargon of past presidental blunders and ‘cover-ups’ that are just waiting for you to uncover, because after all, only you can find out the truth and expose it…. ha… that just makes me laugh. A good ol’ holiday chuckle.

Oh, and it looks like on my previous posting, someone named ‘rosalie’ got my points confused. I wasn’t stating that nationalism was the root of the problems in Iran or in states without constitutions for that matter, the two points were supposed to be separate. Next time I will dumb things down and post separate ideas separately in separate postings. Ashkur Allah - Shalom
