Don’t You Ever Miss California? (Life as Art)

posted in pic of the day |

Oh…. don’t you miss the tall cypress, the creeping fog of Monterey?

The dingy gutters with sour fish smells and seaweed wrapped flotsam floating in the sheen?

What can you say about day break facing west… with nothing before you but a lifetime and nothing behind you but the boring earth and the boring people.

We all must away to other shores…. sooner or later.

I was 2 years in Monterey California, and they were well spent in Big Sur, Yosemite, Pheiffer Beach, Santa Cruz, San Fran, Seaside, Alvarado St., and Bass Lake. I have lived the greatest life I have ever known and I am creating it all as I float along.

All pain is temporary, all decisions are final and bound to change.

All you know is wrong, but by realizing that you are all right.

    good night.
