More gloom and doom - mosquito scare on the rise
Proponents of Global warming have predicted a resurgence in malaria and other insect born diseases, mainly due to the milder and milder winters in regions further and further away from the equator. The hotter the weather, the more likely insects are to bite according to official studies. Is this recent spike in infection rates in northern states a sign of things to come? And what of the human effects to all of the mosquito spraying that is currently being employed as a method to combat the spread of disease.
