Hurricane Predictions - 4 to 6 will be “major”

White Plains NY (SPX) Jun 09, 2006 - Hurricane season officially began on June 1, and national forecasters predict another active hurricane season for 2006, with an estimated eight to ten hurricanes expected. Of these, they predict four to six will escalate to “major” hurricanes of Category Three strength or higher.
